  1. The phrase “I tended to find myself nodding along with parts of Caitlin Flanagan’s essay in December’s Atlantic” was nearly enough to put me right off reading anything else that guy had to say. Which, sure, isn’t the nicest, most well-thought-out reaction, but really, that essay made me want to break things. A lot of things. (I should just know better, by now, than to read a word she writes.)

  2. Truer words have never been typed. I can’t seem to stop myself either–I think it’s because it seems impossible Flanagan could get any worse. But She Always Manages To.
