- And, also in the NYT, Curtis Sittenfeld writes a column about appearing to book clubs that may not inflame the ‘sphere. I feel the presence of a giant shoe overhead.

Thanks for the shout out about my bookseller/blogger roundup — it’s good to know folks are reading, and I hope my fellow booksellers get a few extra hits!
And I think Chiasson sold the Tussing book way short — I reviewed it for Publishers Weekly and was blown away by the bleak but beautiful writing and the characters who seemed alternately insane or inspired… it’s a wrenching story about the failure of a particular American fantasy (in a voice of true adolescent angst), but it’s well worth watching it all crumble. Hope you enjoy!
