Spalding at 21c: Voice and Vision is a fast-paced reading series that allows for up to six featured readers in a variety of genres to showcase their writing in one energetic space. Spalding invites established and emerging voices from the region to share their work against the backdrop of a world-renowned contemporary art collection. Entering its fourth season, all readings take place 6:00-7:15 p.m. at the 21c Museum Hotel, 700 West Main Street, and are free and open to the public.
Readers scheduled for May include Gwenda Bond (Triple Threat), Nancy Chen Long (Light into Bodies), Nettie Farris (The Wendy Bird Poems), Kirby Gann (Ghosting), Paul Griner (Second Life), and Spalding University MFA student and slam poet, Jasmine Reed.
