My Secret TV Life

Old_tv_set_rcSo, it’s Friday, and why not do one of those listy things? This one comes courtesy of Erin at Rarely Likable. Bold the ones you’ve seen at least three episodes of, add italics for those you’ve seen every episode of, and I’m adding a star to the ones I actually loved/love, etc. The others I just liked enough to watch at least three episodes.

Follow the clicky.

  1. I didn’t know you’ve not seen Fawlty Towers. Ed’s right about that.
We watched the first episode of the Miami CSI, I think. Some dude fell out of an airplane into a swamp or something. That redheaded guy from NYPD Blue looked like he should be wearing a lot more sunscreen.
I’m recording the Dominion War arc of Deep Space Nine for you to watch.

  2. Oh, and I’ve seen stray Star Trek episodes and the movies. And probably even enough to bold it. But honestly, I remember almost nothing. I can barely keep the main characters straight.
Oh and Fawlty Towers lovers should check out Not Only, But Also… — what’s left of it anyway. I’ve always _meant_ to catch FT, just haven’t done it yet.

  3. OK, now I am abusing the comment system and really writing about something days ago but HAPPY BIRTHDAY. In your most apocalyptic honor, I attended Nuestra Belleza Nuevo Leon last night (last year’s winner won Miss Mexico and is a favorite for Miss Universe. This year’s won’t, I don’t think) and I called the top three within the first 20 minutes of the show, even though I eventually lost 10 pesos with respect to the actual order. My poor hilarious and upstanding friend Matt was also treated to long descriptions of the sugar-buzzed pageant beginning of it all. Much love and birthday wishes (your birthday doesn’t end until the last slacker gets it right)
    Miss Sunshine

  4. Yay! Much love back, Miss Sunshine! Package incoming very soon to you and Mr. Cavin. Next time you are in the states, I want to hear all about the beauty pageant adventures (and read your book and eat junk food!). xxx
La Gringa — I think you have to go into the edit for the default post settings or appearance; you want it to Show Extended Field or something like that, and then you just type in the lower field when you want to do a cut. It’s a little obnoxious sometimes, in that you’ll inadvertently type an extra letter or two down there by hitting tab and have to go back and delete it later, but overall works fine.

  5. I stumbled across your blog while I was in the process of doing some online research. I guess I don’t watch nearly enough T.V. I hardly recognized half of these shows!
